Service Description

Intro to Robotics from the STEM Alliance! Intro to Robotics launches students into a hands-on world of coding, problem-solving, and robot-powered fun! Students start by learning binary code and using it to decipher secret messages, just like real computer programmers. Then, students bring their new skills to life by programming a Dash robot to move, play music, navigate obstacle courses, and complete creative challenges using iPads. These lessons support the development of mathematical and computational thinking skills in students, and create awareness about careers related to computer science and engineering. It’s an exciting first step into the world of robotics for beginners! Class dates: 3/27, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/29 *No class 4/3 or 5/22 *Make-up June 5th
