Service Description

Newton's Playground from the STEM Alliance! Newton's Playground: (3rd - 5th) In this hands-on after-school program, students will explore Newton’s Laws of Motion and simple machines while designing and building a model playground. Through the engineering design process, they will sketch, prototype, and test structures that incorporate levers, pulleys, inclined planes, and more. By combining physics and engineering, students will gain a deeper understanding of how forces and machines shape the world around them while creating a fun and interactive project. Class dates: 3/27, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/29 *No class 4/3 or 5/22 *Make-up June 5th
